Awkward Entry #3

Hello my faithful blog followers..i have been a bit remiss about awkward blog lately. I apologize for that...Here is a classic awkward blog for you....
I work a farmers market every Wednesday in Sellwood. I work right next to the NICEST lady named Harriet. Harriet sells lamb meat, lamb skins, wool and other lamb products at the market. A small child wanders up to her booth one day, leans on table and says matter of factly..."So do you just have a bunch of dead lambs laying out in your fields?" Harriet is kind of flustered and answers no, we have live lambs too.. the child is like.." Oh, so live and dead lambs?" Harriet gets awkward. The mother comes over, and tried to get the child to walk away...child responds "No I'm fine here.." Harriet sighs and Harriet and child stare at each other...Awkward day at the market:)

Awkwardness of the day...
Number one....True story.
At farmers market today, i was a working..and pouring wine. Some lady started waving like crazy at me and i'm like..weird..but ok. I start waving back at her, keep in mind i have customers. She keeps waving so i wave harder and start smiling as she gets closer she gives me the weirdest look and walks right past my booth to her friend behind me on a bike...awkward for all involved including my customers.
Awkward story number two...the band playing today at the market sounded wailing cats...
Awkward story number 3..I'm unloading my wine after a LONG day at the market it's around 815. Winery closes at 6. A man strolls in startling me and is a traveling musician who wants to taste wine and also wants to play at some of our events...i inform him that we are closed (inwardly kicking myself for not locking the door) he says that he wants to try wine..i say no deal we are closed. He keeps trying to sample wine (?) and is being kind of creepy...i am here alone and it's night time. He finally stomps out...awkward and scary. Over and out.

First Awkward Entry

Well thus begins my awkward blogging. Most who know me know that i truly am an individual who has awkward things strike me and land in my path. Here is finally a place i can air all experiences:)
Let's begin..Entry number 1
I went to see Eclipse at the movie theater with my best friend Tiff....we got candy and soda and i got a JUMBO sized container of popcorn. We were seeing all three twilight movies back to back..finally when we had gotten to eclipse..the main event...My stomach started rolling from all the soda and candy and popcorn. I had to rush out twice to hurl in the bathroom and then run back in..barely made it through the movie. Proves that the child never really leaves the adult even as you age...
Second entry for the day...
Awkward is people who just stare at you blankly when you try to talk to them and share feelings and life experiences...that is awkward.
